Beloved Husband, Father,
Grandfather & Great-grandfather
May 9, 2018, age 84, of Inver Grove Heights. Survived by wife Susan,
daughter Mary Ellen (Terry) Bell, son David (Denise) Puppe; 4 grandchildren Alecia (Tony) Engelmeyer, Erik (Audra) Puppe, Natalie (Colin) Scully and Andrea (Michael) Heaton, and great-granddaughter Colette. Sid was so proud of his family. He enjoyed family time at his favorite place, the cabin on Big Sandy Lake, McGregor, MN
Sid Graduated from Red Wing High School and Gustavus Adolphus College. He was a teacher and coach for 10 years. He then started his career with State Farm Insurance where he was a Regional Training Director and District Manager before becoming an agent. He was active in the Inver Grove Heights community: Business man, member of the school board, Inver Grove Heights City Council, Kiwanis, River Heights Chamber of Commerce where he received the vision of Excellence Award of Entrepreneurial Accomplishments.
Memorial Service 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 17th at the GOOD SHEPHERD LUTHERAN CHURCH 7600 Cahill Ave E. IGH. Family will greet friends 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery. Thanks to the staff at New Perspective-Eagan and Interim Health Care and hospice for the care he received. Memorials preferred to Alzheimer’s Association
