Robert “Bob” Paul Sachwitz

Funeral services for Robert “Bob” Paul Sachwitz, 56 year old Gillette resident, will be held on Friday, November 11th at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Andrews Church in St. Paul Park, Minnesota. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10th from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and Friday, November 11th from 9:00 am to 10:50 am at the St. Andrews Church. Bob returned to his heavenly home on November 3rd doing what he loved, hunting in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming. Online condolences may be made at www.harnessfuneralhome.com.
Bob was born to Marvin and Sharon Sachwitz, in St. Paul, Minnesota on June 20, 1960. He was married to Shelly Lynn Morton on August 25, 1984 and they made their home in Sterling, Alaska where they raised four children. They later moved to a ranch in Gillette, Wyoming. Bob’s lifetime devotion and his firm belief in God supported him in his dreams throughout his life.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Shelly Sachwitz of Gillette, Wyoming; three sons, Shane Sachwitz and his wife Jaclyn of Gillette, Wyoming, Brandon Sachwitz and his wife Rebecca of Dexter, Iowa, and Daryl Sachwitz and his wife Brittany of Soldotna, Alaska; one daughter Stacy Sachwitz of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; mother Sharon Sachwitz of St. Paul Park, Minnesota; four sisters, Leitha Malberg and her husband Scott of Woodbury, Minnesota, Laurie Jimmerson and her husband Kory of Euless, Texas, Barbara Knafla of Oakdale, Minnesota, Jean Appert and her husband Nolan of Hastings, Minnesota; one brother, Keith Sachwitz of St. Paul Park, Minnesota; six beloved grandchildren, Makayla, Adilyn, Daryl Jr., Lucas, Peyten, Charlotte and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Marvin Paul Sachwitz.
