Charles Ernest Kraby
Charles Ernest Lowe was born June 26, 1943 In Grand Forks, ND. to
Eldora Louise Lowe. Husband Ernest Lowe was deceased prior to birth. Charles was adopted in 1953 by James Elbert Kraby.
He attended Hillsboro Public School where he grew up. He furthered his Education at Concordia College, Moorhead, MN. transferring to the University of Colorado, Boulder, CO. and graduating in 1966. Charles then traveled Europe and Russia for ten weeks before joining the Peace Corps for two years. He was employed by the University of MN Hospitals, Aurora Medical Hospital in Colorado, returning to the U of M Hospital, and finished his career on Capital Hill with the State of Minnesota. He relocated from the Twin City area to Sun City, Georgetown, TX in 2007.
Charles passed away Friday morning May 3, 2019 at Autumn Leaves Memory Care in Georgetown, Texas having reached the age of 75.
Charles enjoyed acting and working in the Theater. He was a founding father of the Bloomington and Burnsville Community Theaters of MN. Chuck’s hobbies included photography, birdwatching, reading, (never enough time for books), and traveling.
He is survived by his loving companion, Cameron Kienenberger, Cameron’s daughters and granddaughters. Siblings Susan Reed (Terry), Jerome Kraby (Rebecca) Hillsboro ND, and Cynthia Kraby (Jim Vos) Montgomery TX. Niece and nephews and many Grand nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents.
