Frank served in the Army Air Force 440th Signal Battalion and helped in the reconstruction of occupied Japan. Upon return to the States, he worked as an engineer for Morris Rifkins & Sons meat packing plant and ended his career as chief station engineer at the St. Paul Civic Center.

Frank literally knew how to do everything mechanical and was happy to lend a helping hand to those that needed it. He was also his family’s version of Google maps as he could give directions to almost anywhere in St. Paul and the surrounding area. Cribbage was his favorite game and he strategized and outscored all of us. Frank was a devoted family man and loved nothing more than to spend time with his children and grandchildren.
